Compliance will consist of a thorough review of all governing documents as they relate to the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program
, the Federal HOME Fund program, and Project Based Section 8
in South Carolina. Reviews will also be conducted on all database management systems to ensure compliance with all governing documents. An audit of all current resident files will be completed to ensure the accuracy of the information contained in the file. Going forward new move ins will be reviewed prior to approval for move in to ensure compliance with governing documents. Annual recertification’s will be reviewed quarterly to ensure all required documentation is contained in the file. Annual Owner Certification reports will be prepared and submitted prior to the state agency established due date. Utility Allowances will be updated and new rents calculated if/when there are changes. Income limit and new rents will be calculated if/when there are changes announced by HUD.
